Your space, members and billing
A workspace gives your team a shared customer model, campaigns, brand and billing. Each space is isolated from the others you belong to. Use this lesson to understand ownership, member access and the costs attached to your operation.
A space has a name, an avatar, and a short unique slug that appears in the app's URL. Admins manage those, along with domains, senders, members, and billing, in Settings.
Members and roles
A person joins a space as a member. The membership carries permissions that decide what they can do, and you assign them as one of three fixed roles.

You pick the role when you add a member, and you change it from the members table. Permissions outside these three combinations are not assignable. You add members by email: existing users join at once, unknown emails receive an invitation link.
On Premium, every member with write access (Member and Admin) is a paid seat. A Non-paid Admin costs nothing. Inviting someone with write access adds a seat rather than blocking the invite.
Free and Premium plans
Each space is billed on its own, on one of two plans.
- Free: no subscription and no card. You get 5 credits once, granted when the space verifies its first sending domain. You also get 100 emails a month as a hard cap: past it, sending is refused, never billed.
- Premium: a Stripe subscription, monthly or annual. It includes 1,000,000 emails a month and 5,000 records, and credits can be bought on top.
A record is a contact or an object, and both count toward the 5,000. On Premium, records past the included 5,000 add record packs, emails past the included allowance are billed per email, and AI generation, personalization, and workflow runs draw from credits. Free cannot buy extra: it stops at its caps.
Credits meter your usage
Credits are how maxclicks charges for usage. One credit is one unit of the workspace billing currency, held in its wallet. Premium editing seats also include a monthly credit balance. AI generation, personalization, workflow execution and email overages consume credits; included emails have no per-recipient send fee. The Usage report in Billing shows where your credits went.
When no credits are available, new operations may be refused while workflow and broadcast execution can wait for funding. A terminal failure is different and needs investigation. Premium has a limited negative-credit buffer and optional auto reload, so the displayed balance is not an emergency stop control. Use workflow pause or broadcast stop when you intend to prevent more execution.
Seat allowances fund eligible member activity; background automation uses the workspace wallet. Read the email Estimate before scaling a campaign, including corrections and reviews as well as generation. Unknown estimates are not zero cost.
On Free, sends also hard-stop when you reach 0 remaining emails for the month. The cap resets monthly; the one-time 5-credit grant does not.
